The ancient Greek temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio, at the eastern coast of Athens in the region of Attica was built during 444-440 CE and is one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Ancient Athens. A Doric temple which overlooks the sea and is dedicate to Poseidon, God of the Seas.
